Here are the beautiful ballads of ‘The Bard’ that weave through my chamber opera Fire Songs, rewritten as a standalone song cycle for soprano and harp/piano. These songs tell the story of Brigid’s journey into the sky, from woman to fire Goddess of Ireland.
