My whole life has been filled with singing. I write to celebrate and care-take the glorious, beautiful work of singers.

I create music for all sorts of singers. Children and adults. Community-singers, students and professionals. Soloists, ensembles and choirs. A cappella and accompanied.

I believe in uncompromising beauty, lush phrasing, and meticulous care for text setting. I also believe in being cheeky, adventurous and bold.

I know songs come alive when they’re performed, and the job of songs is to magic up stories and story-worlds for performers and audiences to delight in together.
