Elegy For A Grieving Ocean was commissioned by Linda Pirie for Windsong Wind Quintet in 2022. It will be premiered in South Australia in November 2024 as part of Chamber Music Adelaide’s On The Terrace festival.

It is the second movement of a larger work currently in development - Night Whales.
